Every HomeTroller is designed to store all your sensitive information right there at home, never in the cloud. This helps to prevent hackers and prying eyes from seeing your personal data and custom home automation schedules.
Internet-Independent
Our MyHS web service simplifies the process of controlling your home remotely but is not required to automate your home. Your HomeTroller will continue to control your home 24/7, even when the internet is down or there's a web service outage.

Seems to be a good hub. Learning curve may be steep. I’m still learning how to use it.
The hole for the usb cable is misaligned. I have to cut the plastic to insert the usb cable
Hello Syvain - Thanks for your feedback. Sorry for the issue with your hub and inconvenience. This problem was created when we upgraded the unit's HAT with an 800 series chip and removed the spacer that was required for the 700 series HAT. Since then, we have redesigned the spacer to fit the new configuration. Please contact us at sales@homeseer.com and we'll send you this spacer.
Purchasing this unit I hoped to upgrade my Zer S3 with 19 devices to be able to use HSMobile which would not work with my Zee S2!unit. Unfortunately I have yet to add a device to the new unit because it “is not connected to the Z-Wave JS Server.
Works faster and more consistent than my older model
The Raspberry Pi G8 initial set up with H4 was easy and I then connected it to my Wi-Fi. However, I discovered after some back and forth with support that switching my older R-Pi Z-Wave network to the new Z-Wave could not be done using a simple backup/restore process. Thus, I have had to do this manually, which slows down the switchover process.
