This plugin adds support for Thermostats compatible with the Insteon protocol. It allows HomeSeer to be configured to connect to these thermostats, receive real-time status updates, send thermostat control commands and establishes the necessary HomeSeer devices, triggers and actions to be used in events for more complex control.

The latest work to make the PI compatible with MNS insteon HS4 plugin is both very appreciated and timely. So far the integration seems to be working. I had to, however, set up an event that forced period polling to get the devices to update - even with HS4 initiated change to settings on the thermostats. Would think that polling and certainly device updates after changes would be automatic but it wasn’t showing up especially on the HS mobile app. Wish this were an HS4 native plug-in too but that is more nice to have at this point.
I (and many others on the forum) were under the impression this plugin would work with HS4. It does not. I would actually like a refund.

Went Insteon because I wanted the basic programmability and the ability to link schedules for other aciticirs with those on the thermostats. I also wanted to implement my own rules for adjusting indoor programs based on weather. All that is working well with this plugin.
