I'm very impressed with this plugin, worked under my previous HS3 install, and now HS4.
Working for both Wemo wall switches, Wemo dimmer switch, and Wemo mini wall plugs.
Seems that sometimes (after 4+ days) the plugin will stop listening for changes in the switch status and HS4 has to be restarted (thereby restarting all plugins) and then it's fine again. This is even though I have created a long DHCP lease time (20hrs) and made DHCP reservations (so the IP doesn't change) for every Wemo device in my home.
I am very happy with my wemo software buy with HomeSeer. It works a lot better then the software that comes with wemo
It is buggy and sometimes does not follow through with events
The first iteration of the plugin I ran had issues. Devices stopped responding and it took several re-initializations of the plugin to get them working. But with the latest update, things are much more stable and working fine now. Opted for handful of Wemo Mini plugs due to cost+cost of this plugin versus Z-Wave mini plugs.
I returned the product and am awaiting my refund. I purchased the linux OS with the USB Z-Wave SmartStick and was not able to get anything to work. I installed the trial software for Windows on my home computer and was able to get the 3rd party plug-in for Wemo functional.. but it did not work on the Linux system I purchased. I bought HomeSeer because the commands are run locally, in comparison to other cloud based systems.. but was not expected such a complicated setup process. The graphical interface is from the mid 90's at best. This system is for experienced users and programmers. I do not recommend HomeSeer for your average home user. I've tested Smarthings, Wink the ISY99 and all of those systems are far easier to setup then HomeSeer. I'm honestly really bummed.. as I like to support small businesses.
