The BLSecurity Plugin for HS3 that will allow you to use security devices and motion sensors for security purposes.
Main Features
- Allows configuration of motion sensors and security devices (DS10A)
- User can import all motion sensors from BLRadar (if installed and enabled)
- Security modes are: ARMED, PERIMETER, SLEEP, DISARMED
- User can specify which devices will be active in Perimeter mode
- Users can exclude devices from Armed and Sleep modes
- User can add zones and assign devices
- User can specify how many devices in a zone need to alert before the zone will alert the system
- Multiple users can be assigned to the plugin, each having a different alarm panel code
- All security activity is logged to the database. Security activity report can be run to show all activity
- User can specify a wave file to be played when an alert is triggered in Armed, Perimeter or Sleep mode
- User can send emails to multiple recipients when an alert is triggered in Armed, Perimeter or Sleep mode
- User can specify various lights to be turned ON when an alert is triggered in Armed, Perimeter or Sleep mode
- User can specify a list of phone numbers that will be called when an alert is triggered in Armed, Perimeter or Sleep mode
- User can assign a security remote to the plugin and have it control the security modes.

There are various plug-ins that integrate HomeSeer to dedicated alarm systems but this is plug-in allows the use of your existing motion and door sensors as top class “virtual” wireless alarm system. It (of course) integrates with HomeSeer events so can provide incredible flexibility. For example, if “there is motion outside the house when the system is fully armed” then “Take external camera snapshots (I use UltraCam3) of what is happening and email notification to me”. Or - set up HomeSeer events that determine that no one is at home then automatically arm the system and send an reminder auto arm email. I use a wall tablet and HSTouch and have found that the built in voice sounds for this plug in (all customised via the plug in with either WAV files or text to speech) come out of the tablet automatically. As you can see the possibilities are endless. I use it alongside the RFXCOM plug-on allowing me to use inexpensive 433Hz sensors on all external windows and I use loads of sirens too. Love this plug in!
Never liked the idea separate motion sensors for home automation and other motion sensors for alarm systems. Why not have one sensor for both purposes Well now you can. This fully featured Plug-In allows you to use your HomeSeer sensors as an fully featured home alarm system. It leverages the HomeSeer platform allowing you to customise alarm events with the flexibility of your HomeSeer platform. For example, if the alarm goes on then why not switch on all the lights at the same time. Or how about automatically setting the alarm when there is no one at home and you forgot to set it on the way out Or how about capturing snapshots of all you web cams when the alarm goes off. Or maybe sending SMS messages to you when the alarm goes off. Or maybe you want the alarm to go off if someone opens an specific drawer. There are no end of permutations with the power Homeseer and this Plug in combined. Try out out your self.
Can't complain... Kinda wish it didn't cost anything but worthwhile, even for the price of a license.
Very nice plugin. Rock solid with regards to what it does. Also has trigger items in events that allow me to do a lot of things like turn the system on/off based upon my phone location (with IFTTT), change thermostat settings based on security system status, show statuses on HSTouch. My only complaint, which is not a big complaint, is that the keypad buttons could be a little larger for big clumsy fingers like mine.
