Talks to Plex over its local HTTP API and needs no account -- Plex permits unauthenticated local access by default. Every player reports title, show, season, episode, progress, who is watching and whether it is transcoding, with transport controls. Every server reports streams, new arrivals, library size, indexing and machine load. A backup page captures server identity and library data. Full details are on the plugin's own About page.
