Very solid plugin, well supported.
Works perfect and even beter support
Used the HS3 plugin for years.
The HS4 plugin is much improved.
There is now a dedicated screen to each Sonos component in addition to the standard HS device pages.
One of my Sonos is the Roam, which is of powered off most of the time, and the plugin handles it just fine.
Also one of the coolest things is that it allows TTS. (Text to speech). The voice I’m using is part of the linux system I’m running HS3 on and it’s not great, but I’m able to change it, and it’s very flexible on what it can do. Every aspect of the Sonos controls are available as HS device settings, it pulls cover art and can handle local music servers.
Upgraded from the HS3 to the HS4 plugin without any problems - the release notes were very comprehensive. In fact one slight issue I was having with BBC Sounds stations was fixed by the new version. Have always found the Sonos plugin to be extremely useful as part of the automation system
