LS100 G8 is a compact, easy to install Z-Wave Plus smart water leak sensor that's designed to send Z-Wave commands when water is sensed or has not been sensed for a period of time. Use with your smart home hub to issue notifications or to automatically control devices (like smart water valves).

What you are buying

This is a 5-pack of LS100 G8 sensors that were customer returns. All units were powered on with a working battery. However, none have been fully tested. They will need to be factory reset or "excluded" using a Z-Wave command before they can be "included" into your Z-Wave network.

Operation

LS100 G8 may be used to trigger events ("automations") when water leaks are detected. Use to control water valves, send notifications or sound alarms when water leaks are sensed. This leak sensor will send Z-Wave commands when (a) water is sensed and (b) when water has not been sensed for a (user-adjustable) period of time.

The included optional magnetic mount (with probe) allows LS100 G8 to be wall mounted away from leak area. The probe cable may also be used to detect water levels when installed into a container: Example: use to detect "full" water condition in a dehumidifier reservoir.
