Z-NET PRO – Next-Level Z-Wave & Zigbee Control, Anywhere on Your Network
Take your smart home to the next level with Z-NET PRO, a powerful, network-connected controller designed to seamlessly send and receive Z-Wave and Zigbee commands through HomeSeer or Home Assistant. Whether you're managing a sprawling estate or a smart barn across the property, Z-NET PRO delivers fast, reliable performance—right where you need it.
🔧 Key Features
- 📡 Dual-Protocol Control: Z-Wave + Zigbee - Run Z-Wave Plus v2 (800 series) and Zigbee 3.0 networks from a single device. Perfect for mixed ecosystems with lighting, sensors, switches, locks, and environmental devices without juggling multiple dongles.
- 🏠 Network Placement Where It Matters Most - Unlike USB radios that must sit next to your server or hub, Z-NET PRO connects via Ethernet or Wi-Fi, letting you place it centrally in your home or closer to devices for dramatically improved Z-Wave and Zigbee performance.
- 📶 Stronger Meshes, Fewer Dropouts - Z-Wave 800 series provides longer range, faster communication, and improved reliability | Zigbee 3.0 offers responsive control and efficient mesh networking for sensors and lighting Better placement + modern radios = a faster, more stable smart home.
- 🔐 Modern Security & Easy Device Inclusion - Supports Z-Wave S2 Security, SmartStart, and Network-Wide Inclusion, along with standard Zigbee pairing, ensuring compatibility with today’s devices and secure onboarding.
- 🔄 Designed for Advanced Automation Platforms - Built for HomeSeer HS4 and Home Assistant, allowing you to centralize automation logic while keeping radios off your main system for improved stability.
- 🧠 Simple Web-Based Setup & Monitoring - A built-in web interface and status LEDs make setup, configuration, and troubleshooting straightforward—no fragile USB connections or trial-and-error placement.
🌍 Global Compatibility
No matter where you live, Z-NET PRO is ready to work for you. Zigbee 3.0 uses the globally standardized 2.4 GHz band, and the Z-Wave module supports multiple international frequencies. Whether you're in the US, Canada, Europe, Australia, Japan, China, or beyond, setup is simple via Z-Wave Plus or ZWaveJS UI settings in your preferred smart home platform.

First off, this thing is great. The only reason I'm not getting it five stars is that you can't assign a static IP address and it relies on static DHCP leases. I don't use static DHCP leases so I figured I would just use the host name that I gave it. Unfortunately that is not the host name. It passes to the DHCP server so anyone else who is running into issues it will always show up on your network as z-net-pro.
Other than that migrating my zigbee network to it was trivial, migrating my Z-Wave network to it required re-pairing everything, but that was not the fault of the znet pro.
The instructions for setting it up with home assistant are a little outdated correct? Current method is to actually use Z-Wave JS, not Z-Wave JS UI.
I will try to remember to edit this with more information on that if it's requested, but basically you set it up exactly the same And it will show up in devices and integrations.
Honestly if they could fix the addressing and the documentation bring it up to date a bit. This would absolutely be a five star product and I would 100% bump it to five stars at that point
I have a garage about 200 ft from my house, apparently too far for the Z-Wave signal from my house to reach. When testing a Z-Wave switch to control garage lights from my house, I found the switch couldn't be reliably controlled by the HomeSeer mesh within the house, even after installing a Z-Wave range extender. I had given up until I saw the email re: the Z-Net Pro. Since I have Ethernet in the garage (thanks to a wireless bridge I'd set up to connect an IP camera), it seemed the Z-Net Pro could be connected to my LAN, and allow HomeSeer to control Z-Wave devices in the garage. After getting verification from the helpful folks at HomeSeer, I ordered the Z-Net Pro, easily got it added to my HomeSeer system, and installed it in my garage. I put the garage lights on a Z-Wave switch and added a Z-Wave motion detector, and now have the lighting control I was looking for. I think this is a great product that does the job exactly as advertised. Highly recommended!
