having issues connecting. ask for HEX number which i cant find nor it explain where I can find it
Didn't work. I needed to send commands to a Global Cache GC100 over my local network. All this plugin could handle was a comm port.
This is a great plugin to control your window Shades up and down using Somfy motors. If your Somfy motors did NOT come with Z-wave already built in, but rather are controlled by a handheld RF Remote control, then this great Plugin is for you. I did the following steps:
Enable the Pluggin then:
- 1) Plug the 16 channel into your HS03 com port.
- 2) Follow Somfy instructions to assign a channel (using the rotary channel switch) to each shade and/or also assign one channel to multiple shades.for one-button control of all shades. (Note: The memorization of channels is done at the Somfy motor end, not in the remote control, therefore one motor can be activated by several different channels for individual control or one-button scene control of multiple windows)
-3) After each assigned Channel is finished, a numbered DEVICE will show up in the MySomfy plugin and therefore show up as an HS device.with UP/ DOWN/ STOP control.
4) Use your EVENTS to lower or raise or stop the shades half way down with Triggers - Date and season, time of day, or Temperatures outside versus inside, and Lumins from ZW100-A motion sensors.
RESULT: In the WINTER, my "Interior" shades act as a one-way valve to Lower and keep the heat INSIDE when there is NO SUN and raise to "Let the heat in" when the sun is shining. -- In the SUMMER, the "Outside" shades lower to keep the sun OUT when it is hot and sunny and then raise in the evening after the sun is not beating on the window.
