I needed a way to provide input devices as I am using HS4pi for a hydroponic system and I am not a Linux person. Setting up the Spud RaspberryIO was quick, easy and did what I needed. Great job. If there are any enhancements/changes needed for a full HS4 upgrade - Please do it!!
Everything has been working as expected.
I can now use the garage door transmitter buttons built into the console of the car to operate devices and lights inside the house before I even exit the vehicle. My Wife thinks I’m a Genius now.
As a newcomer to HomeSeer one of the first things I’ve done, and would suggest all beginners to do, is just browse he Forums to get familiar with the software and the people in the know. From just reading Spuds posts, you can tell he’s been involved with Home Automation software and devices for some time now. The other thing that comes across is that He is well respected by his peers.
Thanks Spud!
It mostly does what I needed. I am currently using a Beta version the Author released to fix RPi4 incompatibility. I am currently passing test info tho the software author for possible further revision.
Still works great after many years ;)
Good ad on to enable Homeseer to harness some of Raspberry Pi's capabilities.
Thanks Spud
