This plug-in provides my phone with all the updates from HS3 that I want/need. It updates my temp widget as soon as hs3 gets new values, it notifies my phone if any smoke sensor goes of, I use it to track my location, set house alarm, use my phone as an extra remote control for home theater. A great plug-in with endless possibilities.
I've had a great experience with this plugin
The power of this interface enables HS to control any device that the manufacturer has provided a phone app for. In my case, no way to interface HS with proprietary Lennox digital iControl thermostat. But Lennox does provide a phone app so HS can now control the thermostat via this plugin and Tasker. Convoluted control path, but when no other alternative, this bridges the gap!
